Alleged Anti Fascist and Left Wing Politically Correct Marxist thug Graham Fisher, who killed two women and ate the flesh of one of them, is on a waiting list for the surgery after complaining he was overweight and unfit
A 22-stone cannibal killer is having a £7,000 gastric-band operation on the NHS to help him stop eating so much.
Graham Fisher, who killed two women and ate the flesh of one of them, is on a waiting list for the surgery after complaining he was overweight and unfit.
Fisher, 39, also a serial sex attacker, ballooned in size after bingeing on chocolate, crisps and cakes at high-security Broadmoor Hospital in Berkshire.
A source said: “It is disgusting that a killer like Fisher should be allowed gastric surgery which is paid for by the taxpayer.
“He showed no mercy to his victims and his decision to eat everything in front of him underlines his lack of self control.
“We are in the middle of a recession. The NHS should reserve gastric bands for those who deserve it.”
Fisher’s series of horrific crimes started in 1991 when he raped a vulnerable woman in her early 40s at her home in Bromley, Kent.
The sadist was not caught and went on to kill twice in 1998.
Clare Letchford, 40, was found dead at her flat in Hastings, East Sussex, on January 18. Beryl O’Connor’s body was discovered at her home nearby eight days later. They had been strangled, set on fire and Fisher had cut flesh from Miss Letchford’s arm to eat.
He was finally brought to justice after being convicted of indecently assaulting two Spanish students at knife-point in Eastbourne in May 1998.
In 2008, while at Broadmoor for the sex attacks, Fisher confessed to manslaughter over the two killings. He was given an indeterminate sentence with a minimum 21 years. Prosecutors said he targeted lonely women to satisfy a sexually sadistic aspect to his personality.
Fisher, who is classified as super-obese, buys fattening treats including chocolate, crisps and sweets at a hospital shop. He works a couple of hours a day in the hospital’s kitchen garden but spends most of his time sleeping in his single cell.
The source added: “Despite stuffing his face on junk food he moans that he wants to be slim and a gastric band is his only hope.”
The mother of Fisher’s victim Clare Letchford yesterday reacted angrily to the news of his gastric band op.
From her home in St Leonards, widow Joyce, 88, said: “It’s terrible he is getting preferential treatment. There is never a day I don’t think of Clare. I lost my husband in the same year she was killed and you never get over it.”

Broadmoor recently approved the option of gastric surgery, which restricts the amount a person can eat by fitting a small band around the top of the stomach.
A spokesman for the West London Mental Health Trust said: “Due to patient confidentiality we can’t disclose any information about individual patients.”
