7 out of 10 Scottish people could be without a job if Scotland was to break away and become independent, according a new study produced by the British Employment Association.

Scotlands future is not looking good should it become independent

The Study which was presented to Alex Salmond today showed that if Scotland was to become independent then the country would immediately fall into a deep recession and many would lose their jobs as a result. This could effect as many as 7 out of 10 people living in Scotland by 2017.

Earlier this month, Salmond was already told that it wouldn’t be viable for Scotland to continue using the British pound as its currency and there is doubt  as to whether it would be allowed to join the European Union as a full member state.
