Authorities say a 43-year-old Left-Wing man has been arrested for allegedly uploading child pornography to the Internet.
Ian Laice is being held on bail pending his arraignment, the Newcastle Police Department said in a statement.
Laice was arrested at a home in the city of Newcastle last Thursday morning which authorities allege had a “‘trophy room’ filled with young girls’ items such as clothes, toys and children’s books.”
But the investigation began with detectives serving a search warrant at a Newcastle home.
There, investigators say they uncovered evidence that indicated that the suspect had been living in a home in an unincorporated area in Manchester..
The statement said a second search warrant was served at the Manchester location, which allegedly provided, “overwhelming evidence of the suspect’s possession, possible distribution and manufacture of child pornography.”
Following the execution of the search warrant, authorities subsequently located Laice.
The statement says Laice is accused of uploading images of child pornography on at least two occasions and sexually abusing three female victims between the ages of 10 and 13.
